About Dolls for Daughters
Kenzi’s Kidz
What is Kenzi’s Kidz?
Kenzi’s Kidz relieves some of the financial burdens of at least one, low-income family pro-actively taking the necessary steps to create a stable environment for their children. The program plans to give each child the fundamental items needed to succeed in school such as school supplies, clothing, extracurricular activities as well as birthday and holiday gifts for a year.
Who Qualifies?
At this time to qualify for this program, your family must be a client of Warren Village or Joshua Station in Denver and nominated by a staff member. In 2012/2013 we will select a family from Hope House of Colorado.

Our Families
Kenzi’s Kidz partnered with Marcellina and her children with the help of Warren Village on August 1, 2010. We have enjoyed our year with this family and and will continue working with them until July 31, 2011. Kenzi’s Kidz has provided Marcellina’s children with several opportunities. Her daughter was able to dance at Cherry Creek Dance and have her birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese’s, two of her children were able to play soccer for a season, the family has been able to visit the Denver Zoo and Water World. Kenzi’sKidz also provided additional necessity items to Marcellina’s four children. Marcellina had this to say about her partnership with Kenzi’sKidz:
“Our quality of life has certainly improved in a huge way. My children and I have choices in the activities that have been offered to us for the summer. We are able to attend the zoo and water parks with guests. Not to mention the clothes that were provided for us. This added to the needed summer wardrobe. As a single mom being able to take my kids to places as a family, and have fun makes us all feel good. This opportunity gave my children the added confidence that we are a normal family.”
Beginning August 1, 2011 we will have two families that we will be working with. One from Warren Village and one from Joshua Station. Keep checking back for more information on these families. Beginning in 2012 we will add a third family selected from Hope House of Colorado.
