As I think about how very blessed I am as a mother, I often think about the families that Dolls for Daughters has helped over the last three years. I am blessed to be the mother of Kenzi who has taught me how to be a better mother to her siblings and a better person to everyone in my life. It is times like this and days such as Mother’s Day when I remember the first year we donated dolls and were at a Toy Shop for the DEC.
It was 2007 and the lines outside this church were long, tons of families needed toys for their children at the Holidays. We donated 50 or so new dolls and Kyle was volunteering his time.
