Putting smiles on the faces of underpriviledged children
In 2007, Jessica Bachus started Dolls for Daughters, after her daughter Kenzi was stillborn. She created an annual holiday Toy Drive for Colorado children who would not otherwise have toys during the holidays.
Today, Dolls for Daughters collects more than 40,000 toys, stocking stuffers, books, toothbrush/toothpaste kits and other items to change the lives of children in our community through our annual Dolls for Daughters and Toys for Boys program. At this annual event families are also provided with community resources to help improve their lives and the lives of their children. In addition our Kenzi’s Kidz program works to support six families in our community annually, and our Packz 4 Kidz program provides school supplies to children in August.
Annual Toy Drive
1,037 families were served at our 6th Annual Dolls for Daughters and Toys for Boys Toy Shop, with more than 300 volunteers on hand to help.
